[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] It was a cold an unfamiliar world that she knew nothing about by default, with all she had ever known before being the simple bliss of a close warm space that seemed to have been able to go on forever- until it hadn't. A turmoil of movement and feeling a fresh breeze for the first time was more than enough to get the kitten to burst forth with wide jaws, startled, unaware of what was going on around her. There was movement, and there were others- smaller bodies like hers that she felt more secure around than she did the feeling of open air. Her lungs were blasted with her first breaths, no sounds reaching her that made sense- only a dull echo of the world around her. She felt touch, movement, and hunger in her belly as sharp as glass digging into her. It drew forth a mewl from her small mouth, tiny teeth standing out against her fur as dark as coal, a few blazing spots of orange scattered across her pelt as she shuffled forward, not minding the rasp of her mothers tongue against her pelt. She'd only get accustomed to it in time as she latched on to fill the ache in her belly, an ache she did not like.

Wisteria. That was to be her name, of long lilac flowers that hung down from the trees, and the only one of her siblings to have a name that would never change throughout the course of her life. She had no -kit ending, nothing of the sort, not like the girl truly minded as it were. Curling up below against the warmth of her mothers stomach, a warmth that felt so familiar and welcoming against the bright, stinging cold she had been put up with just moments before, the ache in her belly subsided, she had dozed off. With only the comfort of her mother, and the feeling of her siblings bodies around her.

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] Before anyone had really gotten a grip on reality, she had become around one month of age. Toddling around with not much more to do than ask curious questions and try to figure her place out in the strange new world she had become a part of. Skyclan was so interesting to explore, as such were its inhabitants too- the inhabitants that Wisteria herself was very curious on meeting. Of course it was unlikely she would ever truly get to know all of them on a close, intimate way such as friendship- she would never truly understand some of the social cues necessary for them -and yet despite her curiosity in meeting everyone she stuck to herself at times, too.

As she was doing currently, tiny paws and long legs carrying her around when she had stopped to watch a beetle marching along the ground carrying a small leaf upon its back. Wisteria hunkered down, pale eyes blinking as she stopped to watch it trot along, her nose mere inches from the surface of the earth as she stayed perfectly still, only moving to follow the little soldiers path. Her breathing became shallow as she fell, invested in the new thing she was watching, simply wondering what such a tiny bug would want to do with a leaf that size. It surely was fascinating, to the point where she didn't know what to do with herself- was there a leaf that much bigger than her out in the world somewhere? And was she meant to carry one, too? It was difficult to find the answer out to this, not unless she went to go search for that big leaf herself that was, but watching the little beetle trudge around with his big leaf was also interesting... and that thought process would have gone on forever too, had the beetle not fallen over onto its side from Wisteria's breath, the small exhale having come out too quickly and too forceful that it had caught it off guard. Now instead of watching the beetle move, Wisteria simply sat, watching the beetle aimlessly flail its legs around, and wonder briefly, if she should have been doing the same, too.

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She was both one, and not one, for socialization for the mere fact she wasn't all too good at it. Awkward with words ( and boundaries, nonetheless ) did little Wisteria trot up regardless. Drugstorekit was her brother after all, and Summerconstellations her mother- the others were all but a mystery to the mysterious kitten as she came over rather quickly and silently, almost as if she had appeared out of thin air. Of course, someone would probably notice her, but considering she was hanging back a little bit regardless, the small tortie would clear her throat anyways. Her eyes were large and wide, and her face gave no indication of how she was feeling at that moment, looking rather neutral as she nodded to everyone present.

"Hello, mum. Drugstorekit." she said with her whimsical tone of voice, sounding airy, perhaps even thinking of other things at the time. Yet she was fully present so to speak, her voice was just soft, perhaps even a little unsettling to those who weren't accustomed to it. "Did I miss much?" She asked shortly after, having arrived only after Marcus had left, only having heard slight muffled shouts before she had approached- that being what had attracted her to the scene in the first place regardless.

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She wasn't one much for social cues, let alone really knowing what it was like being around a whole bunch of people. But seeing her mother, and her father as well, that had been enough to bring Wisteria over to them. Her small dark and muddied appearing paws brought her to a halt near the outskirts of the group, her pale eyes merely watching as she sat herself down, blinking her eyes and tilting her head. Not a word left the young girls mouth as she simply nodded, her way of saying greeting without words- it didn't seem like there was much to say in the young kittens mind. They were adults talking about what she assumed was adult things, stuff she didn't quite understand all too well being so young, but nonetheless she would listen- that was her specialty, after all.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She flicked her ear as she continued on with her endless staring of the beetle, whom was still flailing his little legs trying to right himself back up. It appeared he would stay as such unless she were to help- but it did not occur to her to do such a thing. All Wisteria knew was that she felt slightly sad for the poor little thing, but figured it would fix itself in time. Her ears flicked again, swiveled to say, when she heard paw steps approaching her and the familiar scent of her mother hit her nose. She frowned, wanting to both look at her mother, but keep her stare upon the beetle as if her pale eyes were enough to fix the problem before her. Yet when she heard the question that had been directed her way, she supposed she had no other choice but to look over, to acknowledge that she had been spoken too- that was what people were supposed to do, right?

"I've been watching this beetle to see where he goes, he has a very big leaf. Or had? He fell over because I breathed too hard when I was trying not too and dropped his leaf, and now look here- he's stuck and incapable of getting up." Was what her response had been, a bit of a mouthful considering how quiet she usually was- yet despite the amass of words that left her mouth her voice was still quiet, hardly above a whisper and rather monotonous as it were- yet she sounded somewhat excited over the fact that the beetle had been turned over, despite the slight guilt she felt at having been the one who had knocked it over ( albeit accidentally ) in the first place. After she explained herself, she turned her too impossibly seeming large eyes back towards the beetle, and watched as it stopped flailing its little legs and instead started to try rocking itself back and forth. With a small paw, she aimed to bat the at the little thing, to which it started to flail it's little legs again at her touch. Wisteria found that behaviour peculiar, and tilted her head as such when she watched.

So here's a plotting thread for my little baby, Wisteria <3 Shes a Tortie with Pale Golden Eyes, and to sum up her personality; she's a strange, curious girl who really loves the macabre + morbid far more than anyone her age really should in all honesty! Here goes nothing, and if you don't see something on the list below feel free to shoot regardless! c:

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] The dark was something that lured her into a mild state of comfort, the ever lasting shadows enveloping her own rather dark pelt minus the blotches that appeared to be a life filled fire against charcoal. So it was no surprise to see Wisteria in the dark, if one could even see into the dark as it were. She quietly stepped up and laid down wordlessly next to her other, making sure to remain on her good side so when she pressed her soft pelt into hers, that she would not agitate her mothers burns. Here she lay, watching with wide eyes as the others began to group in as well.

She was still far too young to train, being only a month of age- yet no one said anything against watching. The young girl thought of it as sort of a head start, thinking that if she were to be the sort to watch and learn, that when it came time to start training that life would be easier. Besides, she'd take any chance to be out at night, anyways. "Why at night?" she asked, not because she disliked it, but she did want to hear Fadingdaylight's reason for holding one so late- sort of ironic, her name even fit the part, too.

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] As the curious little feline she was, the dark tortie made her way through Skyclan land, one darkly coloured paw in front of the other. Her large, lamp-like and semi-unsettling eyes looking this way and that as she crawled over logs, scrambled across rocks, and darted through the caverns before somehow making her way to a place she had never seen before. In the distance she heard the rumbling of water, could hear the call of birds and it took her a moment to simply think about where she had ended up. Large pale eyes turned to her left, and then to her right, and the silent femme chose to take the path that was straight ahead of her in the end, anyways- it was the one drawing her to the sound of rushing water with currents that were capable of sweeping even the fish out to the large body of water it connected too- this was all something that Wisteria was unaware of, however, when she burst forth from the trees and came across the river before her.

It was wide, rushing, and simply beautiful to look at in general- with sparkling water that reflected the suns light, and just by simply being here Wisteria felt as if she wasn't supposed too. It was bad enough she had strayed so far from home, but now here she was- standing at the brink of what could have been life or death, and strangest of all- she was drawn to it. The water looked so appealing to dip her little paws into, and so the kitten took a few more steps closer to the edge of the water, stopping just as her toes hit the cool surface, and a small delicate smile found itself upon her muzzle as she cast her eyes down, staring back into what was her reflection. Is that what I look like most of the time? she thought to herself with mild awe, noting how her fur looked ruffled, and the bright ginger streak that came from her left cheek, looking like a burning fire against the rest of her muddied black and dark brown pelt. Cautiously, she took another step towards the water, so now her front paws were submerged, her hind ones still on solid land as she simply stared at herself in wonder, dully noticing how the water twisted around her paws, the reflections of sunlight- oh how dazzling it seemed! But it seemed so bright, and so artificial all at the same time. It was simply, truly mesmerizing.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She had yet to notice that Fadingdaylight was anywhere near her, her eyes glued to the river out of pure fascination as Wisteria began her rather intricate thought process. She wondered what it must have been like to be water, to feel like water at all times- from what she felt, it was so cool to the touch, and so welcoming to look at... would people like her, if she was as cool as water? As stunning to look at? She wasn't sure- she didn't truly understand the concept of beauty either which way, but if anything was beautiful, the charcoal and flaming female wondered, than she must have been looking at it. Without even thinking she took a few more steps into the water, hardly minding that it was getting deeper on her front legs, yet still so much more shallower on her hind.

It was as if the water was inviting her to come in even further, as if the sound of its rushing current was a sirens song that wanted her and her only. This whole time she was unaware of the other feline still, even, even as she saw a shadow dart in front of her followed by another- that being fish. She felt her eyes widen further, her mouth open a little in awe as she caught glimpses of shimmering silver under the water, and she ducked herself down, still in the same spot but simply crouching now, the water lapping up at her chin as she did so. Wisteria would soon discover that when she dipped her face under the cool, rushing water, she was incapable of seeing all but the brown stones beneath her paws, the fish that darted past still nothing but blurred glimpses of something that was equally as beautiful. Frowning as she pulled her face out ( sopping, dripping with water, still wide eyed ) she remained crouched, but took another step forward.

Her steps became sloppy, and she stayed where she was now, water still at her chin as she stood, her wading steps sloshing and making notable sound as she moved, transfixed on what was ahead, on the other side even, despite on the inside knowing full well she'd never be able to make it.

She took another step forward, splashing for a moment, before standing still, staring deeper, deeper still into the cold, almost welcoming depths of the deeper parts of the river. The current pulled at her, begged her to either turn back, or charge forth. Wisteria simply stood, feeling water whip past her, large eyes transfixed forward as she dully felt as if something wasn't right, or perhaps the feeling of someone being near by. Was that not Skyclan scent? Why, don't be silly- she was in Skyclan of course, of course it would smell like Skyclan- and the scent of another was simply dulled from the water anyways, you silly girl as she splashed again, more notably this time, still standing, staring, a paw lifted from the water, wanting to take another step.

    [fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] ooc. it's alright <3

ic. The sound of movement broke her from her trance. Had one gotten a good look at Wisteria's eyes in that moments, they would have noticed them going from glazed over to rather aware in naught but a few seconds. She let out a tiny gasp, perhaps only now realizing just how far into the water she had traversed, her gaze lifting from the water instead to look around her. A frown was apparent on her face, and she felt mild panic flutter in her chest like a trapped bird- that was what someone was supposed to feel in this situation, right? Maybe even fear? Or sorrow? Yet Wisteria felt nothing of the sort, instead feeling rather calm despite the rapidly beating wings that stirred within her, and the look of confusion upon her face now was also apparent. Blinking her pale eyes, she rapidly looked around, paws moving underneath her.

She turned, now seeing Fadingdaylight perched upon a boulder, paws gently stepping towards her one after the other. Wisteria's eyes widened, her head starting to tilt and her mouth starting to open to form simple words. A 'how are you' would have sufficed, but Wisteria was always the curious sort, and instead she started to ask a simple question. "What-" are you doing? was what the full sentence would have sounded like, yet when the first word left Wisteria's mouth her paws slipped from underneath her on the stones beneath, and her head fell under the water, her position being lost from underneath her as the current grasped her with claws that felt colder than the rest of the water. The air was knocked from her as she swallowed a mouthful of water, her vision blurred by the rapid movement around her.

She only really remembered seeing Fadingdaylight's face before her, standing above her before she was dunked beneath the cool currents. The next thing she knew was forcing herself to the surface, coughing, sputtering for air as she reached up and out. She felt calm, still, but that panic in her chest swelled more so, and Wisteria could only help but feel confused- this water had been so beautiful, so calming, how was it able to betray her like this? "Ah-" she sputtered, before going back under, being tumbled around like a stone as the current dragged her towards the open waters of the lake. Her body bumped against boulders, paws scrabbled against loose stones, her sides were scraped against the bottom and yet still she managed to surface for a few brief moments at a time, grateful for her intake of air when she got the chance. The current hadn't dragged her all too far in reality, yet she was still dangerously close near the entrance of the lake now, popping up just briefly before the drop off would start, unable to tell where she was at that point in time.

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] Her curiosity had been piqued when she noticed her father slipping into a room, and the thought that came to mind was: 'was it his?' Of course, it must have been- for it to have been anything else would be a bit silly, Wisteria thought, but silently she padded up towards the door and poked her head around the corner. As silent as the night as some would say, her large, pale eyes scanned the room, landing on every object she could see, and furiously wondering what each and every one of them were. Fully stepping into the room, she slipped up to stand next to Icarus, looking up at him with her wide, lamp like eyes.

"What are all of these...?" she asked in her quiet voice, head cocked to the side and her ears tilted towards her father as she once more let her eyes wander, putting depth into each thought with everything her eyes fell upon. As unaware as she was about her father wondering what was wrong with him, she found them all to be quite fascinating, simply wanting to reach out and run her paws across all of them- yet refrained herself from doing so.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She was up to her usual of quietly slinking around, stopping at things that interested her. As it were, Wisteria had found herself somewhere within the caverns of Skyclan territory, currently curiously investigating some dully glowing fungus that protruded from the walls of the cave. It was moist, water dripping down from the ceiling, and yet she crouched just before the dull blue glow, her lamp like eyes fixated on the fungus. It looked so plain, with a smooth top and ribbed underside, and so much smaller compared to her despite the fact that she was a kitten.

She stayed there, tail slowly flicking behind her as she watched, head tilted to the side as water dripped from the walls and landed atop of the fungus, making it bounce a little, the glow reflecting onto her face and the area around her. It didn't go out far, the glow perhaps only reaching a few paces in front of it before becoming to dull to notice, but it was something Wisteria found interesting nonetheless. I wonder what makes it glow, she wondered to herself, lifting a paw to gently stroke the smooth surface of the thing, before looking at her charcoal covered paw, briefly wondering if it was possible for her to grow glowing fungus on herself, too.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] Twilight hung in the sky where it had been a beautiful shade of blue moments before, and now, Wisteria sat with her head tilted back as she watched aimlessly as pink and orange stained clouds drifted across a pale purple sky that was slowly becoming darker and darker, the shades above her changing ever so slowly. But Wisteria was willing to wait and watch, dully noticing that above her there was a faint twinkling star, one that she knew would soon be followed by all of the others.

Watching as the fluffy clouds started to drift past, she noticed that some of them took odd sort of shapes- some changing into other cats, one was a ball, one was a mouse... it was rather fun, and appealing, and Wisteria like the colours that stained the white clouds, too, which only made it all the better. Slightly smiling, the somewhat estranged girl watched as they floated by, pointing out the different shapes to herself as the sky slowly started to become a darker and darker shade of purple-y pink.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] Well, she had never seen a merchant before... so this was to be something new. Wisteria didn't know all too much about bartering as it were, regardless, but it just so happened that the girl had some flowers tightly clutched between her jaws, and a small figurine she had found when wandering the most decrepit part of the abandoned city. Perhaps they'd be worth something, perhaps not at all- Wisteria didn't know, that much was for certain. Nonetheless the quiet, and perhaps sometimes unsettling girl, approached with mild interest shown behind her lamp like eyes as she sat herself down, gently placing her flowers down in front of her as she cast Maggie a rather interested glance, remaining silent for a moment as her eyes scanned everything that was in front of her.

"...Barter?" she asked in her quiet, cold voice, looking from a lavender scarf up towards the strange femme who was on their territory, a brow raised as she cast her staring eyes upon the other feline.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] Being so young, Wisteria didn't know much about her allies and enemies, only knowing that one was considered good and helpful and the other... not so much. Perhaps Chloe got lucky too, that it was only the unsettling gaze of an unsettled kit that had befallen upon her so far, but nonetheless the dark and flame streaked tortie approached the unfamiliar tiger without fear, her lamp like eyes plastered to the tigress before her. She cared not even, for the glittering jewels that were around her wrists, let alone aware that they came from her own territory, but instead, she tried to halt the tiger, clearing her throat.

"What are you doing...?" she asked in her cold, quiet tone of voice, her lamp like eyes somewhat narrowed. She knew for a fact that at her age she wouldn't be able to do anything to actually stop the tiger, but her curiosity had the best of her, and she wanted to find out just what it was that Chloe had in mind. Perhaps another adult would come by soon, anyways.
